From coffee, tea and cocoa to cola, wine, beer and tequila, this spirited exhibition uncovers the remarkable botanical origins of the world’s most beloved beverages. Discover how plants contribute, not only to flavor and aroma, but also to the color, chemistry and cultural significance of the drinks we savor every day. Highlights include a rich collection of historical botanical illustrations tracing centuries of cultivation, commerce and craft.
