Homeschool: Communicating With Signs
Thursday, July 09
1:00pm - 2:00pm
Newport Branch
Newport Kinsella Community RoomThe Sign Museum joins the library virtually to discuss how businesses have used signs to communicate with their customers for decades.
The Sign Museum will present their virtually and we will create signs.
In this program, we will discuss what symbols are and how businesses use them to create signs that communicate with their customers. We will explore signs from the late 1800s through the 1980s and see how technology influenced sign design. We will then use all that we learned to inspire us to create our own signs.
If you have any questions about this program, including accommodations, please contact Claire at nwprograms@cc-pl.org. Please see all our program offerings in our online newsletter at cc-pl.org/connections.
