Spotlight Series: 'Queen City Notorious'

J.T. Townsend, local true crime detective, will be talking about the re-issue of his book 'Queen City Notorious'.

J.T. Townsend, a local true crime detective, is visiting once again to talk about the re-issue of his book, 'Queen City Notorious'. A book featuring local true crime cases around the Cincinnati area. The description of the book from his website reads:

"What do the people in these photos all have in common? They are “the monsters next door” in my new reissue of Queen City Notorious: Cincinnati’s Most Sensational Murder Cases. In these pages, you’ll meet Teddy Hines, a handsome “vampire killer” hiding behind a mask of sanity. There’s Barbara Shutt, an innocent waif who committed a shocking murder in her own home. And Edythe Klumpp, whose sordid crime could be a Lifetime movie today. These nefarious characters are among the 13 notorious crimes that captivated Cincinnati residents and will enthrall the readers of Queen City Notorious."

Townsend intends to end this discussion by talking about the Frances Brady mystery, Covington's most infamous cold case, and will sign and sell copies of Queen City Notorious after the program.
