Register 15 Seats Remaining
A book club for those just learning to read! This week, we are reading 'Paddington at the Barber Shop' by Michael Bond.
Each week from April to mid-May, we will meet to read and discuss a book from the I Can Read! series. I Can Read! books are specifically crafted for children learning to read. Register to pick up a book in advance for your child to practice before book club, or read it for the first time at the program. The books are theirs to keep! If your child is hesitant to join in reading aloud, they are welcome to pass and just listen to others read. After we read, we will complete an activity while we discuss the book.

Paddington at the Barber Shop
Paddington is not a bear to shy away from a tough job. But when he is left in charge of the local barber shop, his determination to keep the customers happy will surprise even himself!
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives.
