Learn about different gems, rocks and geodes. We will discuss how certain rocks form and then have a gem dig.
Dig for gems and other rocks and work on identifying them. We will be analyzing our rocks, discussing the life cycle of rocks and familiarizing ourselves with rocks that are native to our area. Everyone will go home with some of their dig finds.
