Tidalwave Road comes from the heart of Daniel Boone Country to bring bluegrass to Newport. They create a different blend of bluegrass that is full of heart and Kentucky influences.

Tidalwave Road hails from Williamsburg, KY in the heart of the Daniel Boone Country. It is the “Gateway To The Cumberlands,” and a hotbed for high-energy, foot-stomping bluegrass music. First formed in 2012, the current members include Ben Parker (banjo), Carlie Parker (mandolin), Daniel Parker (bass) and Robert Sulfridge (guitar). Their approach to bluegrass is different: it is Kentucky, and it is all heart! We have no doubt you will enjoy this fun and upbeat band!
The band was the winner of the 2023 SamJam Festival Band Competition, sponsored by Pinecastle Records. Ever since then, they have been taking off and spending a bunch of time in the studio recording. Some of their recent releases include their EP "The Bonfire Sessions" and their debut album "Skin and Bone".
