Inspired by previous years' Shaking Up Shakespeare and Autumn with Austen series, Fall Into Literature is an annual short program series taking place at the Cold Spring Branch, where we shake up the ways you view pieces of classic literature. This year, join us as we delve into the origin of the hero's journey with The Odyssey! Homer's stories laid the groundwork for countless tales throughout history, and elements can be seen in all types of media.
This month, join us for a one-time book club discussion on Circe by Madeline Miller! Attendees should read the novel and come prepared to discuss their thoughts with the group. Spoilers will be shared: readers beware!
Make sure to register early and stop by the Cold Spring Branch to pick up a free copy of the book to keep, while supplies last.
Future Events
The series closes on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 6 pm with a movie night showing of the Coen Brothers' O Brother, Where Art Thou? View the event description here.
