Join the library for a day of fun activities including a scavenger hunt, a craft and a visit from the Newport Aquarium.
Bring the whole family and celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by learning about all about the library! This is a jam-packed day that includes a scavenger hunt, library card holder crafts, two story times and a visit from the Newport Aquarium.
This event is designed to give you a glimpse into what happens at the library all year long.
Take Your Child to the Library Day is celebrated by thousands of libraries across the United States and Canada. Initially founded by Nadine Lipman in 2011 at the Waterford Public Library, this day aims to offer free and fun activities for families. Visit takeyourchildtothelibrary.org to learn more.
