The history of aviation is incomplete without considering the women and their achievements in the sky and in space with Martin Schadler from The Aviation Museum in Frankfort.
Martin Schadler, from The Aviation Museum in Frankfort, will talk about Kentucky women in flight. This presentation looks at the "firsts" that were accomplished by women who have not gained the recognition they deserve, and the achievements they and other women have made.
If clear, the lecture will be followed by a peek at the night sky with the Orion SkyQuest XT6 Dobsonian Telescope and those from the Observatory.
