Dr. Mieko shares what it is like to care for and feed animals in captivity, how zoos create nutritious and engaging diets for various species and why good nutrition is essential to animal health and behavior. Students get a behind-the-scenes look at zoo science, wildlife conservation and the fascinating connection between food and animal care!
