Winter Wellness Series


Beat the winter blues at the Fort Thomas Branch with a new program series for the new year!

Relax your mind and learn wellness techniques throughout January and February. From yoga to healthy recipes, release your tension at these calming and rejuvenating programs. 

All Winter Wellness series programs begin at 6:30 pm and registration is required. View the lineup below. 


Thursday, Jan. 22: Yoga With Phoenix

Phoenix Wilson, a yoga, meditation and tai chi instructor, will relieve all the winter stress from your body with her calming yoga techniques. With over 20 years of experience, she combines balance, agility, strength and suppleness into techniques that improve your body and mind. Incorporate these techniques throughout the winter to stay happy and healthy.

Thursday, Jan. 29: Smoothie Recipes

Smoothies are a fantastic way to get your fruits and vegetables in quickly and deliciously! However, it can be difficult to know which ingredients pair well together. Attend this special smoothie demonstration to learn how to make healthy and delicious smoothies. You will be able to sample some creations and leave with more recipes to try at home.

Smells can tremendously improve your mood, given you have the right scents to relax you. Here, you will learn how to craft DIY shower melts and room sprays with essential oils. When you leave, you can treat yourself to an at-home spa day.
