Event Details

When: Dec. 16 – Jan. 16

Where: All branches

Winter is the perfect time to check off your reading list or kick off new year’s resolutions to read more books. All ages can participate in the Winter Reading Challenge for the chance to win prizes.

Patrons can find 30 prompts on the Beanstack app; once completed, they will receive an entry for the chance to win prizes. If applicable, books may be used toward multiple prompts. Topic examples include books set during winter, with a blue cover and about a winter holiday.

Prizes

Adults, teens and children can all join in on the fun! Three prizes will be given per age group:

  • First place – $50 Amazon gift card and library swag
  • Second place – $20 Amazon gift card and library swag
  • Third place – $10 Amazon gift card and library swag

What is Beanstack?

Beanstack is a free appdownloadable on the Google Store and Apple’s App Store under Beanstack Trackerand a website that allows users to participate in library reading challenges.

Participants may track their reading to earn prizes. To sign up, visit www.cc-pl.org/beanstack and register as an individual/family. Select “Find Your School or Library” and look for the Campbell County Public Library logo and name. CCPL has reading challenges throughout the year. Happy reading!
