This February, go on a Blind Date with a Book

Let the library play literary matchmaker.

Feeling indecisive? Want to shake up your reading routine? Take a chance on a Blind Date with a Book! Fair warning: a perfect match isn’t guaranteed (but it is the perfect way to celebrate Library Lovers’ Month).

 How it Works

Starting Feb. 1 and running through the month, each branch will have their own Blind Date with a Book display.

  1. Head to any branch and find their Blind Date with a Book display.
  2. Books hand-selected by library staff will be wrapped up and ready to be taken home! Read the wrapping for details like the genre, synopsis and more. All books are geared toward adults.
  3. Check the book out at the patron services desk!

It’s that simple! Inside each book, you’ll find a bookmark. Rate your date by filling out the bookmark and turn it back into any branch with your name and email for the chance to win one of two gift cards: $25 to AMC or $25 to Darden restaurants. Two winners will be selected per branch.

Entries will be collected at all branches through Friday, March 8.
