
Take Your Child to the Library Day is Saturday, Feb. 7 — and the Newport Branch is celebrating with fun activities all afternoon. Take Your Child to the Library Day is a national event showcasing all that the library has to offer.
Patrons can participate in a scavenger hunt, crafts, story times, meet Cam the library lion and enjoy an educational and entertaining visit from the Newport Aquarium.
When: 10 am-1 pm Saturday, Feb. 7
Where: Newport Branch (901 East Sixth Street)
10 am: Event begins (enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt, sign up for a library card and more!)
10:30 am: Story Time
11 am-noon: Newport Aquarium
12:30 pm: Story Time
1 pm: All done!
