Signature Series: The Last Glory Days of Baseball with Keith O’Brien
Hear from Keith O’Brien, who used interviews, FBI interviews, court records and press coverage in writing his new book Charlie Hustle: The Rise and Fall of Pete Rose, and the Last Glory Days of Baseball. O’Brien—born and raised in Cincinnati and now living in New Hampshire—has authored four books, including Charlie Hustle.
Released this spring, Charlie Hustle was an instant New York Times bestseller and The Wall Street Journal called it “comprehensive, compulsively readable and wholly terrific.” The book unravels the story of Rose, who set the still-standing record of most hits; in the ‘80s, he became the focal point of one of Major League Baseball’s biggest scandals.
