May 20: Antique Showcase with Dr. Brian Hackett
While not a licensed appraiser, Dr. Brian Hackett has worked in museums since 1984 and at NKU since 2012.
Hackett has an eye for historical items disguised as everyday objects. If you have a family heirloom you are just itching to know more about, register to have Dr. Hackett take a look. Spots are limited.
Only one item can be looked at per registrant. No weapons of any kind are allowed. An assessment form must be filled out ahead of the program, along with pictures, and dropped off by Monday, May 12 so that Dr. Hackett can better prepare. If the item is too large to bring to the program, multiple pictures with as many angles as possible will make it easier to access.
