Join us at the Cold Spring branch to learn about beekeeping!

Local beekeeper Katie Wardrup discusses the basics of beekeeping, interesting honeybee facts, and tips for how you can help our local pollinators at home.

About the Speaker:

My name is Katie Wardrup and I have been beekeeping in Northern Kentucky for over 8 years. I started with 1 top bar hive and grew to about 40 hives! My husband fell in love with beekeeping too and we do it together.

I believe beekeeping is an art where you are “dancing” with nature and constantly learning. There’s no one size fits all method for effective beekeeping and that‘s part of the beauty of keeping such miraculous little insects.

This event is open to all ages.
