Stargazers Club: Cincinnati Observatory Star Party
Thursday, December 1, 2022
6:00 pm - 8:45 pm
The Cincinnati Observatory will join the Stargazers Club at the Cold Spring Branch to host a Star Party! They will give a lecture about the local night sky. If the sky is clear, they’ll also put out high-powered telescopes so we can study the stars!
The mission of the Cincinnati Observatory is to maintain the integrity and heritage of a historic 19th-century observatory and to educate, engage, and inspire our community about astronomy and science.
If clear, the lecture will be followed by a peak at the night sky with the Orion SkyQuest XT6 Dobsonian Telescope and those from the Observatory.
