Signature Series: Chef Edward Lee

We are cooking up something special at our Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch as we host Chef Edward Lee! A Signature Series first, Chef Lee will be giving a live cooking demonstration along with his talk. Joseph Beth Booksellers will be available so you can purchase an autographed copy of his book, Buttermilk Graffiti: A Chef’s Journey to Discover America’s New Melting Pot Cuisine!
Tickets will be mailed two weeks prior to the event. Tickets requested after that time will be available at the desk the evening of the performance.
Chef Edward Lee
Chef Edward Lee is the chef/owner of 610 Magnolia, MilkWood and Whiskey Dry restaurants in Louisville, KY. He will be opening a restaurant soon in Cincinnati. He is also the culinary director for Succotash in National Harbor, Maryland, and Penn Quarter, DC.
He has been nominated for a daytime Emmy for his role as host of the Emmy-winning series, The Mind of a Chef on PBS. Most recently, he has hosted and co-produced a feature documentary named Fermented.
He is the author of Smoke & Pickles: Recipes and Stories from a New Southern Kitchen and Buttermilk Graffiti: A Chef’s Journey to Discover America’s New Melting Pot Cuisine.”
Chef Lee also runs the non-profit The LEE Initiative which promotes equality and diversity within the restaurant community.
