Manga to Anime Club: ‘Soul Eater’ by Atsushi Ohkubo

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For February, we will be discussing Soul Eater by Atsushi Ohkubo.

Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, this series revolves around 3 duos. These pairs are a partnership between a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to reach a ranking of “Death Scythe” (and thus fit for use by the Shinigami) they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

This is a Teen program for ages 11 through 19.
