Manga to Anime Club: ‘Pokémon Adventures’ by Hidenori Kusaka

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For April, we’re discussing Pokémon Adventures by Hidenori Kusaka.

Red, a young Pokémon trainer, is on a quest to become a Pokémon Champion. He begins his journey in the Kanto region with his trusty partner, Poliwhirl. Follow along as Red encounters challenges such as gym battles against Kanto’s strongest Gym Leaders, as well as the nefarious Team Rocket and their leader, Giovanni.
