Manga to Anime Club: ‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ by Furuhashi Hideyuki

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For January, we will be discussing My Hero Academia: Vigilantes by Furuhashi Hideyuki.

In this prequel spin-off of the popular My Hero Academia series, a young man named Koichi Haimawari uses his Quirk to help others, despite not being a licensed hero. After Koichi and a street performer, Kazuho Haneyama, are harassed by a group of thugs, they are saved thanks to the vigilante, Knuckleduster, who recruits Koichi to become a vigilante himself.
