Learn about the GED at Your Library with Campbell County Skills U

The Campbell County Public Library is teaming up with Campbell County’s Kentucky Skills U program to provide information sessions to those interested in pursuing their GED, the high school diplomacy equivalency program.
Sessions (1 hour each) will be offered at all four library locations the week of August 30, as follows:
Monday, August 30 from 1 – 2 pm and 2 – 3 pm at the Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch
Tuesday, August 31 from 6 – 7 pm and 7 – 8 pm at the Newport Branch
Wednesday, September 1 from 3 – 4 pm and 4 – 5 pm at the Alexandria Branch
Thursday, September 2 from 10 – 11 am and 11 – Noon at the Cold Spring Branch
Learning sessions at each location will provide information on the GED program. The first 10 people that register have the option to take a practice test that day.
Please register as soon as possible for the date and time that works best for you.
Campbell County Skills U can help anyone over the age of 18 who is not currently enrolled in a secondary school with educational goals such as:
- Preparing for your GED
- Improving your basic skills
- Learning English as a Second Language
- Preparing for college
- Preparing for employment
Both in person and virtual classes are offered.

If Campbell County is RED on the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard, everyone, age 6 or older, who attends library programs are required to wear masks.
