Improve Your Reading and Literacy Skills with a Student Tutor from NKU
Monday, March 17, 2025
All Day
Through the Federal Work Study Program, a Northern Kentucky University education student will be available to meet with preschool and elementary students to work on reading and literacy activities.
These 30 to 60 minute tutoring sessions will take place at our Cold Spring Branch, 3920 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring.
A parent/guardian must be in attendance with the student at each session.
Please register to express your interest in scheduling a session; include your preferred date and time in the Special Needs section of the form.
After you register, a library staff member will reach out to schedule a date and time to meet with our NKU student tutor. Currently, the tutor is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and then from 4 to 9 pm.
Meet our NKU student tutor:
“Hi everyone! My name is Aliyah. I am a current student at Northern Kentucky University double majoring in secondary education and English. My passion is to teach students. I have experience tutoring and planning lessons for my own classes. I would love to help the community and use my knowledge to help others. I am very excited to start this journey with you all.”
