Welcome to If You Give a Kid a Book Club: where you get to keep the books we read!

  1. Register for this program to get your FREE copy of the book! One copy per family.
  2. Starting September 14th, pick up your book and discussion questions from the library.
  3. Read and enjoy the book at your own pace.
  4. Come chat about this month’s book and other books you love in the book club on October 12th at 4:30 pm.

About the Book

Rafael wants to protect his toys from his little sister, Essie. Gathering materials from around the house, he builds a wall tall enough and wide enough to keep her out. But will it be strong enough? And what does Essie really want?
