Have you read the book or seen the movie? Here at Homeschool Book to Movie Club, you can do both!

Every 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30 am, we will discuss the club’s book with a special talk about its movie counterpart. Register for this program to get 1 free copy of the book per family.  The books will be at the Cold Spring Branch from July 26 – August 19th to pick up. If you can’t pick up at Cold Spring, tell us your location choice using the special needs section of the registration form or email Brittany at bparr@cc-pl.org.

Holes centers on an unlucky teenage boy named Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake, a juvenile detention center in a desert in Texas, after being falsely accused of theft.

These interconnecting stories touch on themes such as racism, homelessness, illiteracy, and arranged marriage.

 


 

 

All state and federal COVID-19 mandates will be followed.

Please register all children. Only one adult per family group.  

If Campbell County is RED on the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard, everyone, age 6 or older, who attends library programs are required to wear masks.
