#CCMSReads Book Club

Danielle visited Campbell County Middle School for the final meeting of the #CCMSReads Book Club of this year. This was the first year for the book club, and we will be continuing it next school year! The students and I had a great time, and I am looking forward to this book club next year.

This month, we discussed Charlie Hernandez and the League of Shadows by Ryan Calejo. This book is a fantasy adventure novel featuring Hispanic myths, and reads very similar to the Percy Jackson books. This month’s meeting had to be moved up two weeks due to the super early last day of school this year, so the students only had 2 weeks to read this novel. They did great though, and they all thought the book was really fun!
