Exploring early literacy skills through play is a great way to prepare your child to learn to read.

Early Literacy Play Date returns this May for another fun-filled afternoon of enriching activities and games.

Early Literacy Play Date Details

WHEN: 11 am – 2 pm on Saturday, May 18

WHERE: Newport Branch

WHO: Young ones ages 2-5 & their caregivers

Along with activities and games for young ones that promote early literacy, adults can also check out local and relevant resources and services. Plus, there will be a drawing for an early literacy prize pack.  

Don’t forget to pick out a free book via the Book Bus, which will be parked outside of the branch. No registration is required.
