Drop Your Drawers 2023

Get ready to donate new pairs of socks and underwear to the library this November and December for CCPL’s annual Drop Your Drawers campaign.

Drop Your Drawers

Goal: 7,000

When: Nov. 1 – Dec. 31

Where: Donations can be dropped off at any CCPL branch.

Campbell County Public Library’s annual Drop Your Drawers campaign returns this November and December with a continued mission of keeping Family Resource Centers’ emergency supplies of socks and underwear stocked.

The need is great. Every month, schools hand out dozens of underwear and socks to children and teens who need them for a variety of reasons, including accidents, illness, homelessness, items not being available at home, inability to wash clothes or dress adequately and more.

New pairs of socks and underwear in their original packaging can be dropped off at all library branches. New t-shirts and bras are also accepted.

After the campaign, donated items will then be divided between public schools in Campbell County.

Since launching in 2015, Drop Your Drawers has raised over 65,000 items. Will 2023 be the year CCPL passes the 75,000 mark? Stay tuned to CCPL’s social media for updates.
