DIY Tutorial: Unicorn Piggy Bank

Make your own unicorn to keep any loose change safe and sound.

Supplies Needed

  • Wooden unicorn piggy bank
  • Pastel paint pots
  • Paint brushes

Step 1

Gather all the materials needed for this project in front of you. You may want to place newspaper down where you plan on painting your piggy bank.

Step 2

Once all of your supplies are ready, you can begin painting. This is where you can be creative and let your ideas take over!

Step 3

After you have finished painting your unicorn, let it dry overnight. Your piggy bank is ready to be used once it is dry!

Helpful Tips

  • To get the change out of your piggy bank, use a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the stopper on the bottom.
  • You may want to cover the plastic panels with something when painting your bank so they remain clear.
