The Alternative Summer Reading Challenge is designed for individuals with disabilities/neurodiverse individuals who may prefer small weekly prizes.
Alternative Summer Reading Challenge
Receive a small prize and one entry for the grand prize for every 4 hours read. Books, audiobooks, ebooks and comics read to you and by yourself, all count toward the goal.
This challenge is designed for individuals who prefer the small weekly prizes in our Summer Reading basket drawing.
To access the code, individuals must contact a library employee and request to take part in the challenge. This can be done in person at any branch, via our ADA phone line at 859-781-6166 ex 8, or by emailing access@cc-pl.org.
Prizes
Small prizes include fun dinosaur toys as well as easy reader and juvenile books.
The grand prize is a Squishmallow!
