Manga to Anime Club: ‘Fairy Tail’ by Hiro Mashima

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For April, we will be discussing Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima.

After meeting Natsu Dragneel, a fiery and determined wizard with the ability to control fire, Lucy’s life takes a dramatic turn. Natsu is on a quest to find the legendary dragon Igneel, who disappeared years ago. Lucy, along with Natsu and his friends – Gray Fullbuster, an ice wizard; Erza Scarlet, a powerful mage known for her re-equipment magic; and Happy, a flying blue cat – joins the Fairy Tail guild, embarking on a series of thrilling quests and battles.

This is a Teen program for ages 11 through 19.
