El Día de los Libros

El Día de los Libros, or Day of the Book, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates every year on April 30th. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Celebrate with interactive performances from Bi-Okoto Cultural Center (http://bi-okoto.com/) and The Cultural Center of India (https://culturalcenterofindia.com/). Crafts for children will highlight multicultural customs and traditions. To-go bags will be provided with international snacks.

11-11:45 am: Traditional/Contemporary West African Movement & Music Workshop with Bi-Okoto

Noon-2 pm: Cincinnati Circus Balloon Artist

2-2:45 pm: The Cultural Center of India Interactive Dance Performance

11 am-3 pm: Crafts that highlight multicultural customs and traditions.
