Seed Starting for Beginners

Enjoy a hands-on class on how to start flower and vegetable plants from seed. Participants will sow seeds to then grow and transplant into their home gardens!

Terri & Kathryn are horticulture technicians for the Campbell County Extension Service. As part of the extension branch of the University of Kentucky we provide diverse home and commercial horticulture programs to increase growing knowledge. We research new growing methods; offer growing tips; provide plant and soil diagnostics; identify and recommend management practices for disease and pests; and grow and display plants in our educational gardens suitable for our area.
