Friends Book Sale

Stock up on reads at the Friends of the Library book sale on Saturday, May 15 from 9 am – 5 pm.

The sale will be in the Friends Room on the lower level of the Newport Branch. A large selection of items is available.

Prices range from 25 cents to $3 for select titles. Free books are also available. Cash and checks accepted.

Masks are required for entrance.

One Day in Campbell County

In early 2019, the Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society posted notices that they were seeking photographers to participate in a book project. Sixty photographers responded and spent the entire day on Saturday, April 27, 2019 taking photos across the county. Over 1,800 photos were submitted.

The Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society used these photos to create a full-color, 260 page hardcover book that highlights the places that make Campbell County a great place to live. The book is titled One Day in Campbell County.

The book will be available for purchase at the May 15 book sale.
