Cup of Crime Book Club – ‘The Betrayal of Pearl Bryan’ by Larry Tippin
Wednesday, April 14, 2021
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On January 27, 1896, twenty-three-year-old Pearl Bryan of Greencastle, Indiana, boarded a train bound for Cincinnati, Ohio. It appears Pearl was intent on convincing the father of her unborn child to do the honorable thing. Instead, he and an accomplice betrayed and tragically killed her in Fort Thomas, Ky, in what many newspaper accounts described as the crime of the century.
Please join us as we discuss this true story. The Cup of Crime Book Club meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.
