In recognition of Black History Month, Dr. Eric Jackson of Northern Kentucky University’s History and Geography Department will discuss “The Meaning of Freedom: The Underground Railroad from a Regional and Local Perspective” at our Cold Spring Branch on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Join us as we welcome chef Edward Lee to our Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch on Friday, Feb. 7. Khora, his Cincinnati restaurant opening this spring, was recently listed as one of Vogue’s most anticipated restaurant openings of 2020.
Stop by our Cold Spring Branch on Thursday, Feb.27, to celebrate Dog Man, the crime-biting canine who is part dog and part man. The Dog Man Party will begin with a demonstration from the Highland Heights Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
Enjoy snacks and a play area for younger children during a screening of Disney/Pixar’s Inside Out at our Newport Branch on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Teens and tweens can test their chess skills during our Alexandria Branch’s Chess Tournament on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Thanks to a grant from The Yiddish Book Center, we’re proud to present Coming to America: Reading Groups for Public Libraries. The series will begin with a discussion of Motl the Cantor’s Son by Sholem Aleichem at our Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
