First published in 1992, the “Magic Tree House” series introduces readers to Jack and Annie, a brother and sister who discover a magical tree house filled with books. The books have the ability to transport the siblings through time to different places in the world. The series is perfect for readers who are just starting to read chapter books. In addition to the series mentioned above, there is another series of books known as the “Merlin Missions.” The books in this series are a little longer and are for young readers that need a little more challenge.
